| 2. Written by Steve on February 9, 2012 from new york, new york, US When I first signed up with service magic I was getting quality leads. After a year or so service magic didn't require us carpet cleaners to carry business insurance. I carry it which should be reflected in my prices. What has happened since then is it is very hard for me to land a lead because in my opinion I am going against many fly by night carpet cleaners. Our industry is not regulated so anyone can rent a carpet cleaning machine and call themselves a carpet cleaner. Of course the quality of the work may not be there but the customer won't know till its too late. So I'm laying out thousands in insurances and I'm competing against people who are not. What service magic is interested in when it comes to carpet cleaners, is do they have a bank account that they can draw their money from. |

| 5. Written by Lou on February 8, 2012 from minneapolis, minnesota, US Service magic should be investigated by the attorney general. I have been with them for 6 weeks and almost every lead I get is a bogus lead. Wrong or non exsisting phone numbers or email addresses. Had a lead texted to my phone called the phone # immediately . After talking and making an appt with her I stated I had her address info she said she put in a false address. When I asked for her correct address she hung up on me. I called her back got the answering machine. I left a message stating we must have been disconnected and ask that she give me a call back well she never did. So I told my story to sm rep she agreed that I should receive credit Well I did not since I talked to the lead. What a joke I was given false info. Also I received an exact match lead. Tried to call them left messages and emailed them. Nothing!!! But yet I was charged. Could not get credit because I was told it is advertising. Is that not a bunch of crap.? I am going to contact the attorney general. |
